been there, done that, here's a teeshirt
And of course, it wasn't nearly as scary as I made it out to be. I've been worried all week ... for that?
Over the past few weeks up until recently, I felt such a connection with God that nothing worried me. I was fine whether the best happened or the worst. It's interesting how "this too shall pass." And that's okay. It just makes for a more interesting learning experience.
Today, I'm especially grateful for ...
- being 234 damn days sober
- working a step with my new sponsor
- having a sponsor
- having more stepwork to do
- the Big Book
- getting to talk with another alcoholic today
- getting to go back to work tomorrow. I have a job!
- awesome AA buddies, online and off
- my dog -- he's feeling better
- caffeine
- Starbucks -- my favorite source of caffeine
- my car works! Woohoo!
- my family supports me in my recovery
- God, because He has provided a program that gives me hope

Well done! Sponsors have heard it all before anyway. It's actually very difficult to be judgemental with someone who is being vulnerable with you. which step 1 has the effect of producing. vulnerabilty tends to inspire compassion more than anything else. cool! glad you did it!
Well done indeed! Thanks for sharing.
Great T shirt! I want one
Love the T-shirt!
That's good.
If you're really lucky and persevere, you will be working that step forever. Along with eleven others.
