69 ;)

I'm 69 days sober today.

The longest time I've ever been sober was 71 days. Then I stupidly relapsed.

Hopefully I'll never relapse again. But one of my goals has been to make it through 71 days, WITHOUT relapsing on the 72nd day. I'm getting closer now :)

"But by the grace of God" we live each day.

Today, I'm grateful for ...

  • being 69 days sober
  • my fun boyfriend and the cool Danish guys that let me hang out with them
  • the awesome people who read my blog
  • my sweet and patient family
  • my darling puppy
  • God, who never gives up

Just continue doing what you've done the past 69 days. There's no magic number of when to relapse. It's up to YOU if or when you relapse, whether 70 days or 70 years.
You now know what it takes.

Thanks, guys! Yes, every day is a milestone. I need to remember that. And any day can be a relapse day, regardless of "Day #". Fortunately, that day never has to come :)
